Southstream’s Greenland Turbot comes from the icy cold waters of Davis Strait between Western Greenland and Canada. We source Greenland Turbot exclusively from this region because of the health of the fishery and the fishing methods. The fish can be used in similar ways to Black Cod, Halibut and Rock Sole and is considered one of the world’s finest eating fish. It is a perennial favorite among the chefs of premier quality sushi and Asian restaurants for its naturally sweet and buttery flavor. Its mild moist flavor lends itself to many cooking methods: steaming, grilling, broiling and roasting. Greenland Turbot is high in Omega-3 fish oil. Product of Canada.
