Carmine Intrieri Named to NFI Future Leaders Class 2025

Southstream Seafoods is proud to announce that Carmine Intrieri, a cornerstone of our company since 1995, has been selected for the prestigious National Fisheries Institute (NFI) Future Leaders Class of 2025. This recognition underscores Carmine’s dedication to excellence and his unwavering commitment to advancing the seafood industry.​

For nearly three decades, Carmine has been instrumental in shaping Southstream Seafoods’ reputation as a leading international supplier of quality seafood products. His leadership has fostered trusted partnerships across the North & South Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, ensuring a reliable supply of superior seafood to our valued customers.

As part of the NFI Future Leaders Program, Carmine will engage in an immersive leadership experience, visiting key industry locations including Washington, D.C., Williamsburg, VA, Juneau, AK, Boston, MA, and Seattle, WA. These engagements will provide invaluable insights and strengthen connections within the seafood community.​

Carmine’s journey with Southstream Seafoods began immediately after earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. His three-decade tenure is a testament to his dedication and passion for the industry. Beyond his professional achievements, Carmine and his wife, Nicole, have been married for 26 years and are proud parents to three children: Salvatore (23), Daniel (20), and Eva (18). Known for his sociable nature, Carmine enjoys dining out, savoring fine wines, staying active, and cherishing time with his family.​

This recognition not only celebrates Carmine’s individual accomplishments but also highlights Southstream Seafoods’ commitment to fostering leadership and excellence within the seafood industry. As we approach Carmine’s 30-year anniversary with the company in November 2025, we look forward to his continued contributions and leadership.​
