The agreement reinforces Southstream’s long-standing role as a trusted gateway for South African hake, combining continuity of supply, operational expertise, and long-term program stability for foodservice and distribution partners.
Southstream Seafoods has entered into an exclusive partnership with Sea Harvest, becoming the sole representative of Sea Harvest products in the United States. The agreement establishes a new, direct U.S. gateway for premium South African Cape Hake, built to deliver reliability, scale, and consistency to foodservice, distribution, and retail customers.
The partnership covers all Sea Harvest product lines, with an immediate commercial focus on deep-skinned, frozen-at-sea Cape Hake fillets. Processed and frozen at sea to lock in quality and yield, these fillets are prized for their clean flavor, excellent yield, and consistent performance in high-volume foodservice environments.
